I have now officially launched the brand new YouTube channel simply called Paul Harry Massey and this is where we will start our journey in shooting video and artistic photography. There are many channels about photography and cinematography but I hope you will find this one a little more fun and perhaps even quite relaxing. I am starting our journey afresh with no subscribers and no view hours so my first task is to get you interested, subscribing and sharing my content. This is not going to be a tutorial or gear review channel nor is it going to be full of technical jargon that only experts understand.
This will be more of a vlog style where I personally push myself into getting the best out of cheap gear such as action cameras and consumer mirrorless cameras and hopefully end up filming with a professional cinema camera – that seems a long way off right now! I will be filming whatever takes my fancy from canal scenes, drone shots, documentaries, interviews and who know what else. This is a journey of discovery and I hope you will come along and join in the fun. I will be setting photography and video challenges on our MeWe group that anyone can take part in regardless of skill level or equipment owned. I will be giving helpful hints and tips along the way and really trying to engage with you and giving as much encouragement as I can along the way. I have also set up a brand new website to accompany this channel where I will be publishing blogs and behind the scenes stuff and perhaps even some stuff from you too.
